What is Palliative Care
Palliative (pal-lee-a-tiv) Care offers a support system to help patients live as actively as possible until death. The primary focus of Palliative Care is on relieving physical symptoms which then enable a patient and family to address psychosocial and spiritual concerns near death and ultimately enrich their lives and reduce their suffering.
Our Palliative Care provides compassionate and comprehensive care to patients and their families facing illnesses in their advanced stages and helps families cope during their loved one's illness and in their own bereavement.
Center Description
The James B. and Billie Keegan Palliative Care Center consists of 15 spacious and cozy private rooms, all with sliding door access to outside gardens, completely new and updated furniture and carpeting, attractive draperies and bedspreads, handsome armoires and cabinetry with sleepover units in each room, along with soothing lighting to add warmth to the comfortable surroundings.
